A lovely vintage salad basket from France, circa 1950's.
Featuring a lovely shape, it does have some light surface rust, due to age and use but still sturdy.
This basket was used to put the wet salad leaves after rinsing and spin them to get rid of the excess water.
A beautiful and classic French farmhouse piece for the kitchen, look great on the bench with eggs or onions and garlic.
