Large French antique butter paddle spoon from Brittany, France.
From early 1900's, it is hand carved from solid wood that has a lovely aged smooth patina.
As seen on the photo, it has a small chip at the bottom which has been smoothed with time. 
Once used to churn the butter, it s a great stirrer and will look fantastic in the kitchen amongst other wooden utensils.
