Antique French stoneware preserve jar, circa 1900–1930, stamped “Julien Damoy Paris.” Originally made for the celebrated Parisian grocer and used for preserves or mustard.
Its soft grey glaze, simple utilitarian form and gentle imperfections give it beautiful character.
