Keiller Dundee Marmalade Jar ~ SOLD
Collectable antique James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade ironstone jar from England.
Manufactured by Maling pottery in the late 1800s, and embossed S Maling Newcastle on base.
In excellent condition for its age, many of these jars are heavily marked from age. This piece has a few surface marks and some crazing in areas, but is still a beautiful pale colour and the black transferware is very clear. No chips or cracks.
These look lovely anywhere in the home, as a little vase on a table or even sitting on top of a pile of books, not just in the kitchen!
Measures 8.5cm across, 9.5cm high. Weighs over 400g.
