18th Century Preserving Jar
Antique 'confiture' preserving jar from France, from the 18th century. Hand-blown, it features the specific and lovely shape of the oldest preserving jars, this one is more than 200 years old.
This one is highly collectable in France and difficult to come by! Made from heavy, thick glass. Two small chips underneath, probably made ages ago as they have been really smoothen with time!
This beautiful jar would make a very unique storage jar, serving pot at the table for jam or condiment, or as little vase.
Measures 9cm tall x 11cm across the top.
